We care about our home, Europe – that’s why we want to change Europe for the better. Europe wins together – or loses together. Our Green vision is marked by environmental and ecological responsibility, a sustainable and innovative economy, the protection of personal freedoms, and social justice. You can change Europe by voting Green. We want you to have a say – not the banks, bureaucrats, or the lobbyist. You’re Europe.
In the 2014 European Elections we Greens want to change Europe for the better. We want to fix the European economy, save the planet from a climate disaster and defend freedom, social justice and equality at all situations.
In Finland European elections are held in on Sunday, 25 May. The advance voting period in the elections to the European Parliament begins in Finland on Wednesday, 14 May and ends on Tuesday, 20 May. Thirteen MEPs are elected from Finland.
Citizens of other EU Member States who have reached the age of 18 not later than on the election day and who have a municipality of residence in Finland are also entitled to vote in Finland. In addition, European Union citizens who are employed by the EU or other international organisations and are resident in Finland may vote in Finland even if they do not have a municipality of residence here. This requires, however, that they have registered to vote in Finland. Read more here.
